About the Role
We are currently recruiting for disability support workers to provide supports throughout our Canberra locations. In this role, no day will be like the other and you can look forward to variety and rewarding shifts.
Working alongside clients with differing support needs you will provide them with the assistance they require to live independently in their own homes.
In a typical day you will perform the following supports:
- Helping with domestic duties, shopping, meal preparation and other housework;
- Ensuring safe and hygienic living conditions in their own homes;
- Personal care, including showering, dressing, manual handling, toileting assistance, skin integrity checks, medications and wound care.
- Community access out and about in the community;
- Assisting with activities of daily living;

Our ideal disability support worker must have:
- A current First Aid certificate
- An Australian driver’s license and a reliable and registered vehicle
- A national criminal history check (Police Check)
- An NDIS Workers Orientation Module “Quality, Safety and You” completion certificate
- An ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card or equivalent
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
