We’re the Indoor Plant Shed and we’re on the hunt for some pretty special unicorns to join our team. The absolute pick of the bunch!
The Indoor Plant Shed is Sydney’s lushest wonderland of quality indoor plants and designer pots. We believe in the transformative power of plants - not only to sexy-up your spaces, but also in the way their elegant beauty can enrich us by giving a sense of natural balance, joy and happiness to our lives.
Duties include selling, restocking and merchandising. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation at every opportunity.
Our ideal candidates will be those with a can-do, positive attitude that foster a culture of high-performance and unrivalled excellence in customer service and sales. Knowledge of indoor plant horticulture is looked upon favourably however previous experience working in a fast paced retail position is mandatory.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
We have roles at both our Caringbah and North Parramatta stores. We’re looking for people who are available mid-week AND weekends.
- Welcome and greet customers
- Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Accurately describe product features and benefits
- Recommend and display plants that match customer needs
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Enjoy a physical work environment (some lifting required)
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Assist with the sales process by maintaining a fully stocked store
- Enthusiasm and passion for horticulture
