About the Role
We are seeking experienced Mining Truck Operators to join us at Pembroke Resource’s autonomous project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.
The Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres southeast of Moranbah. Pembroke Resources has awarded Thiess a five-year contract to deliver comprehensive mining operations, including mine planning, overburden removal, drill and blast, load and haul (Autonomous), water management, rehabilitation, and the construction of mine infrastructure.
Working on a 7 days on, 7 days off day/night roster and reporting to the Mining Supervisor, your duties will include:
Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output.
Complying with Thiess’ policies and procedures.
Operating, driving, and moving material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience operating in a mining environment with Dump Trucks - CAT 793, 794 or equivalent
- Current Driver’s License.
- Current Standard 11.
- Experience with CAT MineStar technologies, including Command for Haulage, Fleet, and/or Terrain - advantageous.
- SSE signed skills list.
